Iruma is the Protagonist of Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-Kun! His character in the series is known for being kind and angelic, due to his honesty and good nature. Moreover, Iruma’s parents chose not to work, making him a self-sufficient individual with no understanding of how to ask for help or to rely on anyone but himself. However, the kind boy enjoys helping others and finds it hard to decline someone’s request that includes the word ‘please’.
As a glutton, Iruma can eat up to five dishes at once, but his favorite dish is Opera-San’s Omelettes. He also enjoys playing with his schoolmates on campus. Furthermore, Iruma dislikes wasting stuff, due to his background, which makes him appreciate even the little things.
7 Asmodeus Alice

Asmodeus is a noble demon of beauty and destruction, who pledges absolute loyalty to Iruma. The latter was initially seen as Asmodeus’s rival but soon became his best friend. There is no doubt that the noble demon is one of the strongest students in the series.

Amodeus enjoys black tea and anything Iruma likes, but dislikes fish and being called Alice. The noble demon secretly appreciates the cheap snacks that Clara brings for him and Iruma. Furthermore, Asmodeus believes that no one but Iruma would become the Demon King.
6 Valac Clara

Due to her cheerful nature and playful personality, Clara is regarded as a very ‘weird’ young girl on campus. Though, some may take advantage of her innocence to gain free snacks, as she has the ability to summon anything from her tiny pockets. Luckily, she soon meets Iruma and Asmodeus who are sincere in their desire to become her friends.
Clara likes her best friends Iruma-Chi, Azzazz (Asmodeus), and fun things. However, the child-like girl hates being yelled at, bad weather, and complicated stuff. A few of her secrets are that she once lied to Asmodeus about deleting a picture of him tripping.
5 Azazel Ameri
Age: 16 Birthday: March 13th Height: 6′3" (190 cm)
Ameri is a noble and beautiful student council president with a maiden’s heart. This character is known for her imposing aura, but underneath all that harsh exterior a soft-hearted, romanticist exists. Ameri is deeply fond of romance manga and wishes to be like a cute lovey-dovey heroine, but won’t do so as she holds her responsibilities as a president seriously.

Ameri likes discipline, and when Iruma reads the ‘Forbidden Books’ for her. As for her dislikes, she detests delicate manual labor and the idea of giving up. Moreover, Ameri hides Iruma’s picture in her notebook, as she has a crush on him that she won’t admit.
4 Amy Kiriwo

At first, Amy Kiriwo appears as a gentle and frail upper classmate, but his true nature is revealed towards the end of the first season. He is a dangerous demon who enjoys the look of desperation on others. Although Amy got along well with Iruma, he ultimately used the kind boy for his evil plans. In the end, Iruma was able to put an end to Amy’s evil plots, but he lost him as a friend in the process.
3 Naberius Kalego

Naberius Kalego is the head of Babyls’ teachers and the Misfit class’ homeroom teacher. Because of his calm demeanor, he appears to be a strict and level-headed teacher. His favorite word is ‘silence’ as he enjoys the quiet, cacti, and music. The only thing Kalego dislikes is obnoxious, brash, and inconsiderate people, which is why he dislikes Sullivan and Opera.

Despite his harsh exterior, Naberius is a considerate teacher who keeps detailed records of each student. Also, in the anime, he is the one who teaches and encourages Iruma to learn how to rely on others.

Opera is one of the mysterious characters in Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-Kun! The only thing that’s known about the cat-eared demon is that they’re the butler of Lord Sullivan, and one of the few people who knows Iruma’s secret. The demon seems emotionless, but their feelings are translated through their ears, just like a cat. Opera was Kalego’s senior in the past and is one of the few characters Naberius fears.

Lord Sullivan is the headmaster of the Babyls School for Demons. As one of the strongest, most influential, and most powerful demons in the Demon World, he is a potential Demon King. Due to the loneliness the old man feels when one of his fellow Tet (9) ranked friends boast about their grandchildren, Lord Sullivan takes Iruma in as his own. The old man adores and spoils Iruma with gifts and excessive attention. Although he is regarded as the strongest demon, Sullivan’s fluffy personality shines when he’s with Iruma-Kun.
